Between: Animation Studio

Between is a browser-based 2D animation tool designed to make animation approachable, creative, and fun.

Draw your own costumes, place them on a timeline, and use keyframes to animate position, rotation, size, stretch, opacity, and visibility. Between automatically creates the movement between keyframes, with tween styles including smooth, linear, bounce, and more.

Saving Your Work

Between periodically autosaves inside your browser, but browser storage can be cleared or isolated between websites. For important animations, regularly use Save project to download a portable project file.

Exported project files can be opened again and edited later.

Browser Information

A modern desktop browser is recommended. Chrome or Microsoft Edge will generally provide the widest support for recording, file saving, text-to-speech, and video export.

Some formats, particularly MP4, may not be available in every browser. WebM is the most widely supported export option.
